My Van Gogh Doodle

Hello and welcome!

Well, I sure have been painting, but it’s been our interior walls! Ugh, our new house is sooo pretty, but the walls are all beige!! Even the ceilings are beige. Why oh why?!!! And they are high walls. I carefully climb up the 12 foot ladder with my gallon paint bucket in hand, wearing my white paint-splattered dickie, while trying not to fall and well, make a huge mess. It is a large house with many many walls and by the time I’m done for the day I just want to lay down. My back hurts, my hand hurts, my neck hurts, everything hurts!! Who knew painting walls was so exhausting physically. I do now =D

I did start work on a new acrylic painting, it’s of one of the stops we took on a cruise earlier this year. There was an iguana sunning itself on a rock by the water. It looked so content and I snapped a quick pic, knowing I’d want to paint him someday. Well, it’s started anyways, so that’s good right?!

Anyways, thank you for stopping by and spending some time with me and my doodles 😊
